    1. Thank you Beth, it is my first ‘Wordless Wednesday’ post, feels a bit strange to not write anything!

    1. Thanks, yes this was actually very early, so early I had not gone to bed yet!
I have lost the sense of day and night the last couple of years and I sleep at all times these days, night and day makes no difference to me, and because the day is so short I have to try to grab some time in the garden when it is light and I can see. The sun was just arriving at the bottom of my garden as I was taking these photos and the light is so different early in the morning than in the afternoon.

  6. Hi Helene, wonderful sharp photos! There is always beauty to find in the garden you just have to look closely. I often feel that walking around with the camera has made me discover so many more things in the garden! Wishing you a nice day!

    1. I often think the same, and actually, it’s not until I have taken photos and got them up on my computer I really can appreciate some of the finer details – and often discover some of the details I didn’t even see when outside taking the photos. I hope you have a great day too!

    1. Well, we keep hearing about this big freeze, 3 months of cold weather, not sure if it applies to London, still haven’t had any frost in my garden. My dahlias are still standing green and upright, even though they have stopped flowering :-) I wouldn’t mind if we didn’t get any frost at all this winter, haven’t had a winter like that for a good few years.

  10. Hi Helene
So lovely your photos! Oh, I'm a bit jealous that you haven't got any frost or snow yet. Today morning we've got about 10 - 15 cm snow... my bunnies absolutely love it, my tomcat absolutely hates it :o). That's life.
    Have a great weekend!

    1. My cat doesn’t like snow either, fortunately we don’t get much of it, usually only a few days per year. Have a great week-end.
